Senior Consultant Environment

Damien is an environmental professional with 16 years’ experience in the mining and energy sectors, working on a wide variety of small to large scale projects.

Throughout the years, Damien has developed key expertise within environmental compliance, management, approvals, and liaison with regulators. He has also developed key skills to manage a range of documents and activities required under local, State and Commonwealth legislation, including Environmental Impact Statements, Commonwealth EPBC referrals, Environmental Authorities (application, amendment, and surrender), Progressive Rehabilitation and Closure Plans environmental management plans and permits.

In addition, Damien has extensive experience in the preparation and implementation of field monitoring schedules and events, undertaking ecology surveys, site audit inspections, environmental monitoring and providing recommendations for onsite practices.  

Damien enjoys traveling and adventuring with his family and friends in his spare time. When he gets a chance, he also likes to go enduro riding or mountain biking.
