Randal Hinz

Director

Randal is a company Managing Director with over 20 years’ experience in building environmental consulting businesses across the globe with a ‘resource industry’ focus. Randal has built several medium sized (10 to 45 staff) consulting businesses from start-up on the east coast of Australia and in Africa. He has over 30 years’ experience in the resource industry, ten years in direct environmental management at operating mines including coal, uranium, and bauxite operations. Over the past 30 years Randal has project managed or directed numerous SEIA, EIS’s in Australia, China, India, Africa and Indonesia for mining, power stations, rail corridors, transmission lines and smelting projects. Randal is highly experienced in mine closure and operational rehabilitation, having provided input to the development of ICMM closure planning guidelines.

Randal enjoys mountain biking, photography, travel and camping with friends and family.
